Father’s Day…

On June 17, 2012, I will be celebrating Father’s Day with my dad, Joe Jensen.  I am getting on a plane in a few hours to spend the next few weeks with him.  He was diagnosed with Leukemia over a month ago.  We are all believing God for a miracle!

I am writing this blog as a tribute to my Father.

In Malachi Chapter 4 it says “That God will turn the hearts of the Fathers back to the children, and the hearts of the children back to the Fathers”.  We are at the time in history that there is going to be a move of the spirit where Fathers will rise up and become the mentors and men they were called to be.

My Father, Joe Jensen, has been a wonderful and great dad!  His own Father passed away when my dad was only two.  He started playing baseball when he was a young boy.  He eventually went on to play semi-pro baseball with the Milwaukee Brewers.  He quit playing baseball when he was in his early thirties due to an injury to his ankle.

But when he was 52 he started pitching again.  He joined a baseball league and started fulfilling his dream again – to play ball.  Most men his age would not have been able to throw a baseball.  But my dad has continued to pitch baseball up until last year.  My dad will be 84 on June 26th.  They have written my dad up in many newspaper articles and even did a six minute news package on a local ABC affiliate in Minneapolis which you can see in the video on my website.

The Lord is Getting Ready to Pitch Motion Pictures

The Lord spoke to me and said that He is getting ready to pitch motion pictures.  The Lord is calling the “Dream Team” together and we are going to hit it “Out of the Park”.  I have a blog about “Field of Dreams”.  If you build it they will come.  Well God has been preparing His “Dream Team” for a long time.  But we need to “Go the Distance” and believe that we are on the winning team.  Many of you have gone through challenging circumstances for so long its hard to believe.  But these are the times of suddenlies.  God is going to bring forth the greatest harvest the world has ever seen.

It’s time to PLAY BALL!  My dad never quit believing that he could play even though he was getting up in years.  In fact, the doctors said he was a freak of nature.  So believe in the dreams that the Lord has put in your heart.  God is our coach and he is setting us up for the GRAND SLAM.  Bases are loaded and it’s time to hit it “Out of the Park”.    All of heaven is going to do the WAVE!    A great awakening has begun!  It’s a move of the Fathers.  Happy Father’s Day Dad!

  1. Know that there is never going to be a better time than now to seize the day. Each step of the way is a new learning experience that leads to bigger and better things. Continue to set goals. Continue to crush goals. Continue to live in possibility. Remove yourself from what is perceived as comfortable because that’s where the magic happens. While my short-term goals shift each day, my end vision remains the same .I’ll pray for you and father. GOD bless .
