God is doing a new thing in the earth.  I woke up this morning suddenly and I heard the voice of the Lord speak to me, “It’s time for the earth to give birth!”

And then I realized that it was labor day, Monday, September 2, 2013.  And the Lord started speaking to me about doing a new thing in the earth.  That it was time for the great harvest of souls to come forth before the coming of Jesus. 

Isaiah 43:19 states:  “Behold I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth, shall you not know it.  I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”

Many people have been going through challenging circumstances and are waiting for the breakthroughs to come forth.  This word is to encourage you that we are at the season of new beginnings. 

On the evening of September 4, 2013 through the evening of September 6, 2013 we will be experiencing the Jewish New Year – Rosh Hashanah.  In the Hebrew calendar it is the year 5774.  Many eschatologists say that this is the most likely day that Jesus will return to the earth.  It is also the birthday of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. 

I bring this up for a reason.  We are beginning to see the greatest harvests of souls that the world has ever seen.  There is a tsunami wave of God’s spirit that is breaking upon the earth.  It’s time for the earth to give birth”. 

The Youthwave Foundation

In 1996 I was instructed by the Lord to set up my foundation to reach out to the youth.  I was going to start putting on concerts with various known Christian musicians who would draw forth these young people.  I was in the planning stages but did not have the name of my ministry yet.  One day I was coming home after working out at the gym.  I was driving down the road and wasn’t even thinking about anything when I heard the voice of the Lord speak to me.  “There is a greater wave coming than in the Jesus Movement!  I want you to call your ministry “Youthwave” and the slogan is – “Be part of the new Wave!”

I was blown away when I heard this word from the Lord!  We had our first event planned at the Anaheim Vineyard on September 13, 1996.  I did not realize when I set up this date but it happened to fall on Rosh Hashanah – the Jewish new year.  That night there were over 5,000 kids in attendance and over 500 accepted Jesus into their lives.  God had indeed started something new that day.  A season of new beginnings had begun.

It will be 17 years ago this week  that God had me start the Youthwave foundation! The number 17 is very significant because many people are called by the Lord at 17 years of age.  I am working on a major motion picture about the Jesus movement and Lonnie Frisbee.  Lonnie Frisbee was 17 years old when he went up to Tahquitz Canyon and cried out to God, “God if your real – reveal yourself to me”. 

Jesus appeared to Lonnie and told him that God was putting a light on him to reach lost people.  The beginning of the Jesus people movement had begun where thousands of young people all over the world accepted Jesus.  Many media outlets including Time magazine began covering this phenomenon.  It affected the entire world!

A Season of New Beginnings

But we are at a time when a GREATER WAVE of God’s spirit is being poured out.  It’s time for the earth to give birth to the greatest harvest of the sons and daughters of God.  Rise up now this week and know that we are at a season of new beginnings.  I believe that we are going to see everything turn around and the labor pains that you have been experiencing will give place to joy.  It’s time for the earth to give birth!  All the world will rejoice when we see the harvest which God is going to bring forth!  Arise and shine your light has come!  A season of new beginnings is upon us!
